Sustainable development in crafts

This course offerss sustainable solutions for everyday life situations with the help of crafts and it reflects the new national curriculum. The aim is to teach students how to pay attention to their own consuming habits and their effects on the environment. How to make smarter choices in everyday life? How to use and re-use materials wisely and environmentally friendly? 

Students are taught how to plan, design, execute and evaluate their work. The process gives an understanding of different materials and their maintenance. 

The course gives teachers three lesson plans with ready-made evaluation forms. It also gives tips on how to document the different phases of a work.
